The specter of addiction is a horrible one. Horrible. I have had people, as we all have, in my life who have struggled with the burden of addiction. It is a tragic thing to watch...a helpless feeling. We have a program at our church, Celebrate Recovery, that serves people in recovery for all types of different issues and offers help to those who love those in recovery. It has changed lots of lives and is a wonderful addition to our church and its programming. We have a friend who is struggling right now...someone who is very special to us. Say a prayer for healing for all those struggling. Let them know and feel surrounded by love and support.
