I am not a shopper by nature, so when we decided to take a day trip to Ikea, well, I was skeptical. I haven't been so overwhelmed in a long time. All these Swedish furniture and decorating delights in a massive complex. I was looking for a futon, which I did not find one to my taste, but I found 72 other pieces of furniture I wanted. And 95 other kitchen things I wanted...and 58 textiles. I came out of there with a magnet strip to organize my scissors and seeing tools, 2 IKEA big blue bags and some Christmas trays. S got a desk and some other things. The IKEA people know how to organize a store...good grief. I'm exhausted. I'm going to bed.
